I dont do the bbq at home my husband does and he purchased?
a expensive outdoor gas grill he has not cleaned it once and has not bought a cover for it and it was really pretty its only four months old. How can I get him to take care of this. its stainless steal and when you open it up it has this thick black residue over all the burner do you clean this every time you cook with them he has bbq before hes not new to this.
Have you asked him if he plans on cleaning it .. or does he need your help? You can buy some easy oven cleaner that also works well on the grill. Leave it somewhere he will see it and hint that you thought it might come in handy next time he cleans the grill. There are also cleaning kits you can get for him as incentive 
Remember … men are just grown up boys and sometimes they need our help if we want them to take care of domestic things. And being the Grill Master doesn’t mean he automatically assumes the clean-up task
