I have an outdoor grill with rusted cast iron burners. How 2 fix?
The grill was made by Patio Classic which is out of business. I can’t find replacements to the burners that are so badly rusted they crumble when touched. I’ve looked at generic replacement burners but can’t find any cast iron burners. It’s a great looking grill that I want to restore…
Any idea what I measure to determine which steel replacement burner to purchase? I’ve found the steel replacements but they are so dissimilar I can’t tell which may work…
Its nice to keep things you want to restore original but crumbling rust is irreversible. There must be a generic replacement you can find in a local store or even online, you may have a better selection. If worst comes to worst, be creative and find a replacement and drill the new burner holes to connect. Dont worry about using original holes, they wont necessarily effect the grills performance.
